Nils Blommér's "Brage och Iduna" (Bragi and Iðunn), painted in 1846, is a beautiful representation of Norse mythology. The production of this artwork involved Blommér's deep appreciation for Norse mythology and his artistic training at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts and later in Paris under Léon Cogniet. The painting is an oil on canvas. It is currently housed at the Malmö Art Museum in Sweden.
